The state-of-the-art automatic cannabis packaging machine sets a new standard for precise label placement on the prevalent cannabis pouch sizes utilized by licensed producers today. Its innovative design accommodates pouches with child-resistant zippers, press-to-close zippers, as well as pouches with or without bottom gussets.
Depending on pouch length and quality, this system achieves impressive speeds of up to 100 pouches per minute, effectively catering to the needs of two Simplex or one Duplex premade pouch bagging machine. This high-capacity, pressure-sensitive cannabis pouch labeler is optimized to efficiently label pouches intended for various products, such as cannabis flowers, cannabis gummies, candies, and other edible items.
This offline cannabis packaging machine boasts a dual-lane powered magazine for empty bags or pouches, a precision-driven pick-and-place mechanism, a Herma servo-driven label applicator, and advanced Allen Bradley PLC and HMI controls. Swift and seamless changeovers are facilitated by recalling an HMI recipe and making minimal mechanical adjustments on the machine.
This user-friendly automatic cannabis packaging machine accommodates a variety of pouch sizes, ranging from 3.6 inches to 12 inches in width, with a maximum length of 14 inches. Pouches are securely held by suction cups from the magazine and then transferred onto a continuous-motion cleated conveyor, ensuring precise pouch alignment for labeling. Operating at a rate of two pouches per cycle, the machine is equipped with photocells to detect any pouch jams, triggering automatic machine stoppage. The dual-lane magazine can be conveniently refilled during operation, eliminating any potential downtime.
Should your process involve blank or partially blank labels, it is possible to integrate any brand of Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO) on the label applicators to print variable information and barcodes. It is also possible to integrate an ink jet (CIJ) or thermal ink jet coder to print directly on the pouches on this machine. Vision systems to inspect the printed information and validate label presence are another possible integration. Other optional features include faulty pouches rejection, accumulation conveyor, and even a second label applicator to simultaneously apply top and bottom labels.
Depending on your production floor layout, the labeled pouches can be accumulated in a bin, an accumulation table, or transferred to the infeed conveyor of a Fill & Seal Machine.
