Gernep’s cold glue labeler for cut and stack labels is well known for its features, such as it’s compact footprint ease of maintenance and use. Main characteristics of this system include adjustable rubberized glue palettes, a stainless steel glue roller, and a split glue scraper, which allows for greater glue economy. The Labetta cold-glue system enables labeling on wet or dry bottle surfaces and makes body labeling, neck ring, and tamper-evident labeling effortless. It can also handle sparkling wine loops, clip locks, angled strips, and metal foils.
Cut and stack labels have been the most popular beer-label option and extensively used in the wine and spirits industry for decades. These industries rely heavily on cut and stack cold glue operations because of cost-efficiency and various label substrates such as paper, films, and eco-labels. The cut and stack labels can withstand extreme conditions, extreme handling, and it is possible to apply them on nearly any surface type or texture. The system makes easy-work of embellishments such as stamping, metallics, and varnishes, which add extra personality to the product label and offer the ability to connect with potential buyers with a unique visual presence.
Gernep is proud to introduce its gluing unit with a newly constructed drive. Featuring a solid four-legged adjustable label mount with quick fasteners for feeding labels ranging from roughly 7” to 10” towards the labeling pallets.
Gernep also used the opportunity to introduce a new generation of label pallets with this improved version of the gluing unit. The pallet shafts have an adjustable dipping depth setting and higher reproducibility. You can count on the revisions made on the gluing unit to offer reliable drip protection, corrosion protection, improved maintenance, and cleaning capability.
The Labetta cut and stack cold glue labeling machine has one reliable base model; however, customization can conform the machinery to individual requirements. This flexibility will allow integration of additional equipment including optical container orientation and secondary aggregates like their pressure-sensitive labeling unit.
