Concetti IGF Series

Explicitly designed to fill and seal pre-made open-mouth bags with semi-free flowing mixtures, the IGF series‘ produces stable bags with airtight closures that eliminate leakage. The Concetti Group offers several compact solutions for products with a clumping tendency and animal feeds.

Combine the IGF 900 with the proven belt-fed NET/N weighing scale and an intermediate discharge belt for rapid bag filling and accurate regulation of product flow to the bag holder. In addition, the reduction of trapped air ensures long-lasting attractive packaging and great pallet stacking qualities. It is also possible to couple the IGF with either a net or gross weigher using gravity, belt, or screw-feed systems depending on the product to be bagged.

THE IGF SERIES VERSATILITY 

The IGF Series highlights include self-adjusting system components that enable filling and perfect closure of flat or gusseted bags of 10/25/50 kg, made of Paper, PE, or WPP.

AIRTIGHT BAG CLOSURE

Not all typical valve bag installations offer the completely airtight closures that eliminate contamination risks during the bagging and storage processes. This series also offers traditional sewing or “pinch top” closures.  Perfectly packed and squared bags provide safer, stabilized palletizing.

FORMAT CHANGE

The PLC-assisted format change is fully automatic to minimize setup times – in just 90 seconds – without any operator intervention whatsoever. The IGF comes complete with inspection doors and safety devices compliant with the current EC regulations.

DUST-FREE PRODUCT FEEDING AND FILLING

Concetti augers (single or double) are perfect for reducing the quantity of air trapped in the bagging process and are easily disassembled for easier cleaning. The product moves to our IGF automatic bagger class, specially fitted to work flat and gusseted pre-made bags made of paper or cloth. De-aeration probes are then inserted inside the bag to eliminate the air during the filling process, making the bag more stable, compact, and drastically reducing powder in the bagging zone. 

The Concetti Group equipment for flours is subject to a particular “food finishing” painting cycle.

Vibration and air-evacuation devices on the IGF series machinery favor an excellent distribution of semi-free-flowing mixtures within the bags. This feature enables automated palletization with PS/AA high-push-type level palletizers or the class PS-3A robot palletizer class.
