Precise and fast, this Automatic Lid Placer & Closer works efficiently on metal and plastic lids from 1/2 pint to one gallon. Individual lids are discharged from an in-feed and transferred to the top of the filled container via suction cup, the lid is conveyed through a set of star wheels before passing under the closer, ensuring the lid is seated properly prior to entering the closer.

This Automatic lid placer and closer works perfectly on cups, deli-tubs, or buckets with metal or thin plastic lids missing the rigidity needed to be handled by a vertical stacking unit. Changeovers are quickly accomplished.

Fully automating your in-line filling operation with an automated lid placing and closing system engineered to dispense and position lids (before closing) on filled containers increases productivity and reduces labor costs.
