Link-Pack’s Elita series dual-side pail labeling machine is a fully automated solution designed to apply front and back labels simultaneously onto straight walled empty plastic or metal pails. Built for precision, ease of use, and reliability, this system is ideal for manufacturers looking to automate bucket labeling in industries like paint and coatings, chemicals, cleaners and food processing.
The labeling process starts as pails are placed on the infeed conveyor. Guides at the entrace to the labeler automatically lift and hold pail handles upright to provide necessary clearance for precise and uninterrupted label application. Using two label applicators, one either side of the labeling machine’s chassis, the machine simultanoeusly applies front and back pre-printed pressure-sensitive labels onto either side of the pail. Labeling is triggered when sensors signal the Herma 500 label heads for application.
The labels are firmly pressed onto the container using brushes, ensuring full surface contact and a smooth, wrinkle-free finish. For longer labels, optional piston-activated foam rollers can be added to enhance pressure and guarantee consistent adhesion along the entire length.
Engineered and built in Canada, the entire system sits on a sturdy 304 stainless steel frame with adjustable legs for added stability. The electrical cabinet is housed in a NEMA 4-rated enclosure, and the system is powered by a PLC and touchscreen interface from either Allen Bradley or Schneider, depending on client preference.
For safety and compliance, the machine includes a full polycarbonate safety cage with interlocked access doors and meets CSA Z432 standards. All electrical components are inspected and certified by CSA prior to delivery.
Whether you’re labeling industrial buckets for liquid products, granulated contents, or anything in between, Link-Pack’s automatic pail labeler offers the flexibility, reliability, and safety your operation demands.
