THE CAPACITY GAP
Most Canadian plants source from a handful of US dealers who don’t easily cross the border, or from European OEMs with no local presence. Neither is ideal when the line is down.
Customs, shipping, hazardous location review, CSA field evaluation, on-site commissioning. Every step adds time when there’s no one in-country coordinating.
Link Pack sells, installs and services AiCROV filling systems from Montreal: bilingual support, Canadian parts inventory, 24-hour on-site response anywhere from Vancouver to Halifax.
INDUSTRIES SERVED
Most automatic drum fillers are sold as fixed-capacity machines. You buy the throughput you need today and hope you don’t outgrow it. When you do, the line gets replaced. AiCROV designs around a different assumption: that your production volume will change. Each filling station is an independent module on a shared control architecture. Add stations to scale up. Reconfigure for a new container format. Move from drums to IBCs to FIBCs on the same platform.

MACHINE RANGE
From no-installation semi-automatic units to fully integrated production lines. Hazardous location configurations available on every machine.

MACHINE RANGE
AiCROV filling systems arrive ATEX-configured for European hazardous location standards (EX 2G, 2GD, 3G, 3GD zones). For installation in Canadian plants with Class 1 Division 1 or 2 environments, CSA field evaluation is required, and Link Pack coordinates it.
Field evaluation can take place at your facility or at ours in Montreal. When electrical modifications are needed to meet Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) requirements, hosting the evaluation at Link Pack’s facility is faster: our technicians make the modifications on-site, and you take delivery of a machine that’s ready to run.
→ ATEX/Hazardous location configuration certification: available from AiCROV as a build option
→ CSA field evaluation: coordinated by Link Pack
→ Electrical modifications: performed at Link Pack facility in Montreal
→ Hazardous location certification: Link Pack manages end-to-end

AiCROV 4.0
AiCROV’s software layer connects your filling line to your corporate systems: production data flowing to SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or the ERP of your choice, in real time.
AiCSOFT delivers container-level and lot-level traceability. Every fill logged: theoretical vs. real weight, timestamp, operator, product code, batch number. Filter, export to Excel, integrate directly into your ERP.
Track & Trace extends beyond the filling machine: video-based verification of marking, labelling, palletising and bagging. Full production chain traceability from raw material to finished goods warehouse.
PLC compatibility: buyer’s choice between Siemens (European standard) and Allen-Bradley (North American standard). Laumas load cells for precision net weighing.
Twenty Years of Engineering
AiCROV was founded 20 years ago by Albert in Tarragona, Spain, and is now a team of approximately 40 specialists in mechanical, electrical, automation and software engineering. Every machine designed, manufactured and tested in-house.
Certifications: CE, ATEX, OIML, GMP, MID (Measuring Instruments Directive). Machines installed across multiple continents in chemical, petrochemical, food-grade and pharmaceutical production environments.
Turnkey capability: AiCROV designs and integrates complete production lines including palletizers, de-palletizers, labellers, cappers, sealers and wrappers around the filling core. When Link Pack builds a project with you, the AiCROV core can come with full end-of-line integration.
Questions buyers ask us
The questions most frequently asked by production managers, plant engineers and procurement teams in Canada.
A single-station automatic drum filler produces 60 to 165 containers per hour depending on container size and product viscosity. AiCROV’s modular platform scales through additional filling stations: up to 400 drums per hour with 4 stations, and up to 1,000 containers per hour on multi-station configurations. Above 4 stations, throughput is limited by available floor space, not by the equipment.
Throughput above 4 stations is limited by available floor space, not by the equipment.
AiCROV machines are ATEX-configured for European hazardous location standards. They are not CSA-certified out of the box. For installation in a Canadian plant subject to hazardous location requirements, CSA field evaluation is required — and Link Pack coordinates it.

AiCROV’s AicrovFill® net weight filling algorithm achieves precision up to 5 grams — the industry-leading spec for large-format containers.
It is measured at the container level, independent of container size. For a 200-liter drum, that translates to ±0.0025% accuracy. AiCROV’s PID control saves approximately 15% filling time compared to conventional gross-fill/fine-fill systems while holding the same precision.
Yes, on the Plug & Fill and Compact series. The SP1, SP2 and SP25 systems are specifically designed to fill containers from 20L drums up to 1500L rigid IBCs and flexible FIBC bags, directly on pallet.
Advanced series machines can also be configured for multi-container compatibility, though dedicated lines are recommended above 200 containers per hour. Canister filling (2 to 20 L) is handled by the EL1-E and LSG models.
ATEX is the European directive covering equipment designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres — typically required when handling flammable liquids, solvents, alcohols or volatile hydrocarbons.

Standard lead time is 4 to 6 months from purchase order to commissioning. This includes manufacturing in Tarragona, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at AiCROV, shipping to Canada, CSA field evaluation coordinated by Link Pack, on-site installation, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) at your plant.
Custom configurations, complex multi-station Advanced builds, or full turnkey lines may extend lead time.
Yes. AiCROV configures specialized dosing lances for viscous and semi-viscous products including honey, glucose syrups, greases, gear oils, paints, adhesives and heavy lubricants. Over-bunghole filling mode is available for extremely viscous products that don’t require insertion.
Proportional fine filling adjusts flow characteristics from the control panel, allowing the same system to handle products with varying viscosities without mechanical reconfiguration.
Dive nozzles are filling lances designed to descend below the liquid surface during filling. They are used for foaming, flammable or evaporative products where surface-level filling would create foam, product loss or explosion risk.

AiCROV supports both Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC standards — buyer’s choice. Siemens is standard in most European installations; Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) is standard in most North American installations.
Specifying the PLC that matches your existing plant infrastructure means your maintenance team, spare parts inventory and SCADA integration all remain unchanged. Load cells are Laumas across the range.
A turnkey filling line integrates the AiCROV filling machine with all upstream and downstream equipment: container de-palletizing, filling, capping/sealing, labelling, palletising, and stretch wrapping.
Link Pack coordinates equipment specification, project management, single-point commissioning and single-point service across the full line. AiCROV integrates its Advanced series with palletizers, labellers, cappers, sealers and wrapping machines as needed
Link Pack offers standard purchase and equipment financing. Through AiCROV, a pay-by-productivity model is also available where equipment cost is tied to production output rather than paid upfront
This can be useful for operations where capital expenditure approval is difficult but operational budget is flexible. Details vary by project size and client profile
